Bowling Party Favors

We finally got to celebrate Jayce’s 9th Birthday yesterday! We went bowling and had so much fun! about 21 kids showed up, 1/2 that in parents, loud music and tons of laughing! Couldn’t have asked for a better day! I didn’t have time to do much for his party so I just put together a quick favor. I must say, I love how they turned out!

I used all sorts of fun “ingredients” for the favors!

Jaded Blossom Boxes

Jaded Blossom Flag Die

Jaded Blossom Simple Sayings 2 stamp set

Bowling ball & Pin came from SVG Cutting Files that Ann gave her FB friends as a free file =)

I had a tough time trying to figure out what to make for this hop. I made my hubby his gift a little while ago which you can find here on my blog…. <–go on….click that link! Here’s a quick picture of it but all the details are posted from that link I left =)

Valentine Bustier (1)

I decided to make my little munchkin his Valentine’s Day box for school as my project instead. He loves when I make him anything so I thought this would be great!

Valentines Card Holder (1)

I used my fabulous Cameo to cut this great box out. It came as a kit from SVGcuts called “For My Valentine“. I embossed the navy blue with stars to match everything else. The stamps I used were from Jaded Blossom’salphabet candies” & “puppy love“.

Aiden LOVED his box (he’s 5 by the way!), I love how easy it was to make and I hope you enjoyed looking at it =)

16534_391498657609445_425497664_n

Hello everyone and Welcome to Love is in the Air Blog Hop!

Valentine’s Day has to be one of my favorite holidays next to Christmas and Thanksgiving. I love the decor,  flowers, candy, balloons, and stuffed animals and let’s not forget the cheesy cards! Valentine’s Day is that one special day we can show extra love and appreciation to all of those special people we have in our lives. To celebrate Valentines Day, I have a group of talented designers that have created their own special project to showcase.
We hope you enjoy hopping away and as always we hope to inspire you!

Lluvia will be giving away a grand prize, all you have to do is comment on each of the designer’s blog! Winner will be picked on 2/5, please leave your email address!

If you came from Shawnee you are in the right direction!

For my project, I made a cute Valentine’s Day toolbox. I got this file from the Silhouette Store. I added some tissue paper at the bottom and filled it with yummy heart-shaped York Patties. This box was so easy to put together! I’m thinking this will be going to each kids teacher for Valentine’s Day!

The paper I used is double-sided from Scribble Scrabble (Doodle Hearts & Shabby Slate). I cut a circle tag out and stamped the slate side of it with 2 Jaded Blossom stamps from Valentine Treats. I LOVE CTMH ink (all I use!) and this one was Smokey Plum =)

My Love For You Is Scary

A few girls in my Cricut Swap group decided to do a card swap for Valentine’s Day.

There are 2 requirements…
1: must have a cricut cut on it & 2: must be Valentine themed. YAY! That’s easy enough!

“Ingredients” for my card:

DCWV pink & pink rickrack cards (scored a ton of packs from TjMaxx for $1.49!)

Jaded Blossom Flag Dies

Jaded Blossom Love Bites Stamp Set

Timeless Twine Strawberry Cupcake

Flags came from a Sizzix stamp & die set I have

Slate & Cranberry Ink from Close To My Heart

Random paper from my scrap stash

Jewels I bought from Miriam’s Crafting Supplies

Valentines Day Card #1 (2)                   Valentines Day Card #1 (3)

Thanks for looking!

Action Wobble Weekly Challenge #39

This weeks challenge over at Action Wobble is “Get Inspired”

Requirements are as follows:

It can be any type of project, but YOU MUST INCLUDE THE LINK OR PICTURE WHERE YOU GOT YOUR INSPIRATION FROM, and it must have an Action Wobble on it.

What inspires me!? I love Pinterest of course! And google images is another favorite of mine =) I also get lots of inspiration from my crafty friends on Facebook as well!

My inspiration came from Cricut Project Center. Just a simple yet cute Valentine’s Day card.

bee mine

I am an admin for a cricut swap group and I belong to a few others as well. This month was Valentine’s Day so I made the cute little bee from Create A Critter 2. I decided to use my spare for the card that I made. I made it very late last night and just couldn’t think anymore! He was a little plain so I jazzed him up with the action wobble to make him fly!

Valentine's Day Card #2 (1)

I used stickles for his wings, cheeks and the little heart for the I. I found the cute felt heart “ribbon” at the $1 spot in Target! (Love that section!)

Valentine's Day Card #2 (4)

Look at him fly!

Valentine's Day Card #2 (2)

I used Jaded Blossom’s Fancy Topper die for the inside. I also used their really fun “Love Stings” set for the sentiment and bee at the bottom =)

Thanks for stopping by =)

For my project, I made a cupcake box! I bought the file from the Silhouette store and cut with my cameo. I used Birthday paper from Martha Stewart and the stamp I used for the tag came from Jaded Blossom’s Hey Cupcake! set. I inked the edges in purple for a little “pop” to the white. & of course I can’t present the box NOT filled! I made my boys favorite cupcakes to add to the box. And YUM! they were so good!
